Grundy County High School Partnership Build

Blessing House is a two bedroom, one bathroom home that is just shy of 800 square feet. A portion of the house was built by students from Grundy County High School’s Career Technical Education program under the direction of teacher Tim Tucker. Students framed half of the house, installed roofing, windows, rough plumbing and some rough electrical. That section of the house was then delivered to the homesite. The remainder of construction was then managed by the Housing Hub and performed by local volunteers and contractors. Completed in Spring 2025, the home appraised for more than double its cost to build and was sold to our first client at an affordable price!
