Driven by my experiences as a teacher, coach, and father in Grundy County, I believe that safe, affordable housing is the absolute cornerstone of financial security. I am proud to serve on the Housing Hub Board, advocating for housing solutions that allow families to establish deep roots, build generational wealth, and create lasting stability for their children.
Brian is an educator who brings a lifelong passion for the Cumberland Plateau to the board. A graduate of the University of the South with a BS in Natural Resources, he went on to earn his MA in Administration and Supervision from Tennessee Tech University, blending a deep respect for the local environment with a strong foundation in leadership. For 39 years, he dedicated his life to shaping generations of youth as a teacher and coach "on the mountain" before retiring this year. Off the field and out of the classroom, his greatest joy is his family; he and his wife, Elizabeth, have been happily married for 38 years and raised three daughters in Grundy County, where two of them still live and work today. Driven by his multi-generational ties to the area, he is honored to continue serving his neighbors on the Cumberland Plateau.
